From concept to completion and beyond, Hans Middelberg owned and operated six Medical Diagnostic Centers with high tech Cat Scan, MRI, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine bringing decades of experience in designing, building, and managing high-performance medical office development. His worked included development and design of Low Tesla MRI Shielding in dense buildings and high traffic locations in Manhattan. With a deep understanding of complex build-out requirements and a proven track record in patient relations and facility upkeep, he delivers environments that work seamlessly for healthcare professionals and their patients.

His journey quickly expanded beyond the drafting table. Hans launched a successful aircraft trade business, delivering products in small planes across borders with precision and ingenuity. This chapter was followed by a deep dive into equestrian interests, a reflection of his disciplined yet adventurous spirit.

After relocating to the United States, Hans turned his engineering expertise toward the revitalization of urban properties, restoring buildings in some of New York’s most challenged neighborhoods.

 

These early efforts opened the door to a flourishing career in commercial real estate—particularly in the highly specialized domain of medical facilities, where he managed not just construction, but the intricate web of installations, negotiations, and leasing.

His success in this sector naturally evolved into the development of high-end properties in Greenwich, Connecticut, where luxury met function in every project he touched.

He brought rare vintage cars back to life with his own hands—Some that would go on to compete in some of the most grueling road rally events across the globe. Among his many avid sports hobbies included skiing. Hang gliding and Hot-air ballooning. His love of extreme sports was never for spectacle—it was a pursuit of challenge, focus, and freedom.
